• Orthotics – Dr. Settimi measures for custom-made, spinal pelvic stabilizers (orthotics) to help with misalignments. This relieves some of the force and pressure from heel strike, improves the length of time the body can hold adjustments and maintains healthy posture. The casting procedure is quick and painless and done right in the office.

  

• Cervical Pillows – Proper positioning during sleep is vital to preserving a straight and healthy spine. Sleeping on your back keeps your spine in a position similar to when you are upright and protects critical nerves and organs. As classes are becoming more and more demanding, children are required to carry heavier loads of textbooks, which puts an unnatural amount of strain on the back and shoulders. Dr. Settimi does routine back-to-school screenings for kids during the first month of school, which includes a free scoliosis screen, surface EMG (thermal) scan, and posture test.
