Services We Offer:

• On-Premise X-ray Facility - One of the crucial first steps in beginning treatment is obtaining the diagnostic information necessary to understand the problem and begin care.  Our office has on-site radiology capabilities so films may be acquired and results available on your first visit.  Dr. Settimi will review all x-rays films with you and notify you of any underlying conditions.

• SEMG (Suface Electromyography) and Thermal Scans - We utilize an advanced technology called the Insight Millennium.  Use of this instrument is part of the objective analysis of the spine and nerve system.  This instrument delivers a computerized image of the stress and tension on the nerve system.  We primarily utilize these two scans in order to receive an objective picture.

• Nutritional counseling – There are many products available to aid in the complex workings of our body physiology. The vitamins and supplements supplied in our office are all-natural and safe, without the fear of chemical interactions that comes with drugs. Dr. Settimi believes that education about your body and what it requires is crucial to keeping it healthy and maintaining optimal performance. She does nutritional consults and symptom surveys to pinpoint deficiencies and help you understand the workings of your body.

  

• Orthotics – Dr. Settimi measures for custom-made, spinal pelvic stabilizers (orthotics) to help with misalignments. This relieves some of the force and pressure from heel strike, improves the length of time the body can hold adjustments and maintains healthy posture. The casting procedure is accurate and quick and done right in the office.

  

• Cervical Pillows – Proper positioning during sleep is vital to preserving a straight and healthy spine. Sleeping on your back keeps your spine in a position similar to when you are upright and protects critical nerves and organs. Cervical pillows help to maintain the natural curve in your cervical spine while promoting back-sleeping. Dr. Settimi advises pillow size appropriate to your individual body frame.

• Back-to-School Screenings – For many kids, starting a new school year is not only stressful on the mind, but also on the back. As classes are becoming more and more demanding, children are required to carry heavier loads of textbooks, which puts an unnatural amount of strain on the back and shoulders. Dr. Settimi does routine back-to-school screenings for kids during the first month of school, which includes a free scoliosis screen, surface EMG (thermal) scan, and posture test.

  

• Hair Analysis - Tissue mineral analysis is a test that measures that mineral content of the body's tissues. It indicates mineral deficiency or excess within the body or bio-unavailability. Dr. Settimi offers assistance in solving a particular problem by recognizing biochemical individuality. Trace mineral analysis is a great screening tool and this test is done right here in the office.

  

• CranioSacral Therapy- This therapy is used to detect and correct imbalances in the craniosacral system, which may be the cause of sensory, motor or neurological dysfunction. It has been successfully used to treat headaches, neck and back pain, TMJ, chronic fatique, motor coordination difficulties, eye problems, and central nervous system disorders.

• Wellness Newsletter – Our office puts out free wellness newsletters each month, which contain many useful articles on chiropractic and current health issues. We have copies available for patients in the office, and our staff can also register you to receive the newsletter via email.
• Community Outreach – Dr. Settimi is dedicated to donating her time and resources to service those in her community. She offers many lectures on a variety of topics important to health and wellness. If you would like to have Dr. Settimi present a talk to a club, group, organization, or church to which you belong, please call us our office, and we can help you set it up.
